In 2022, I felt a pull in a new direction. After 25 years as a dedicated public school elementary teacher, I realized the career I had once cherished no longer sparked the same joy. Always driven by purpose and a desire to help others, I began searching for my next chapter. That summer, while still teaching full-time, I earned my Georgia real estate license—and discovered a new passion. Helping people find not just a house, but a place to call home, brought back the same fulfillment I once found in the classroom.
My love for St. George Island started well before my real estate journey. In 2019, my husband and I visited the island for the first time on an anniversary trip. We instantly fell in love with the area’s natural beauty, relaxed pace, and strong sense of community. Just two months later, we purchased a property and began spending every chance we could on the island. Over the years, that connection only deepened. In 2024, I earned my Florida real estate license, and our family made a permanent move from Woodstock, Georgia to St. George Island—finally calling their favorite place home.
